Jackie pushes his way into the TARDIS, and gestures proudly. "This is the TARDIS. Much better than the couch, eh?"

Throwing technical goblitly gook wouldn't help. It would only make Galahad look even more confused, and he does a good job of that already.

Spells, though, he can sort of understand, even if he might not like them. He wrinkles his nose a bit, staying a little ways back from the main console. "So this place is magic?"

"No, it just causes an effect like magic. It's technology that's very, very, very, very, very advanced." He pauses for a moment, "Add a few more verys in there."

"Ah." No, Galahad doesn't get it, but if he doesn't agree, it might be explained. And he's pretty sure he couldn't keep up.

Now, though, he's starting to get curious. A little. "Is this room all that there is to this place?" Wondrous enough as it is.

That is probably true. And Jackie isn't completely sure how it works either, so there'd be a lot of, 'um stuff' in the explanation.

"Oh, no, there's a whole bunch of rooms in here. This is just the control room."

"There is more to this place?" Galahad stares, looking around again. "I thought...I had thought this was only the method of conveyance. Do you live here as well?"

Jackie bounds and gestures, "Yeah, there's all sorts of rooms in here. Wardrobe, bedrooms, kitchen... everything you need."

That's a little dizzying. "It...that..." He stops and just shakes his head, not at all certain what to say. "Remarkable," is what he finally settles on.

"Isn't it? Want a tour before we set off?" he asks.

The young knight looks a bit intimidated at the thought, then nods. "Aye. I think I would like that." Though he doesn't get the same feeling of indefensibility from the Nexus. Maybe it's because he can actually see walls here.

Walls are good things. Though the TARDIS may have walls, it also winds around a bit. A lot. He points out interesting things.

Galahad is a good knight. Which means he has a better than decent memory for finding places. You can't do well if you can't find your way back to a town, after all. However, it isn't long before he is dizzy with the twists and turns and wonders. "There's so much," he murmurs, rubbing the back of his head.

"Yeah, sometimes I think it changes too, so there's always something new to find." He scratches his head absently. "They say that the TARDIS's are almost alive." They being his parents. It's one of the few things they agree on.

"Always something new?" Galahad looks startled but nods. "Just from what I have seen, I am not certain you would be able to find all that there is in this place."

"I don't think so. But... it's nice in here. At least for me. Like an old friend." He pats a wall fondly.

They pass by a mirror, which, for a second, there appears to be a girl holding a balloon in it.

Galahad doesn't normally look at mirrors, but he just catches that out of the corner of his eye and stops. He frowns, reaching out to run his finger along the edge. "Did you see that?" he asked.

Jackie comes back to the mirror and looks at it. "Yeah... that's the Sister. She and her family tried to take dad's essence to live forever and in trying to do so ended up killing a lot of people." He touches the mirror lightly. "Dad gave them their wish to live forever. He trapped Sister into all mirrors. That's what you saw."

Galahad shudders, pulling his hand back against his chest. "That...seems to me to be an awful fate," he murmurs, considering. "Though, in all honesty, no more than is deserved." Still. She looked so very young.

Guessing his thoughts, Jackie said, "That's not her real body, it belonged to a little girl she possessed. But yeah... awful fate."

The frown deepened and Galahad shook his head. "Then it is a fate that is deserved." Though he bows his head for a moment in prayer for the possessed girl's soul, wherever it might be.

Jackie waits quietly and politely for him to finish his prayer, only speaking again when he feels that enough reverent time has passed.

"Come on then, Shakespeare's awaiting," he says in a respectful tone, not his usual jovial self.

Galahad crosses himself, then nods. "Aye," he agrees softly, stepping away from the mirror. There is nothing for him here, after all.

He shakes himself, giving Jackie a smile. "Shakespeare, then."

Jackie leads him back to the console room and starts flipping switches. "Any particular play you'd like to see?"

"I know very little of his work." Thinking back to what they just saw, however, Galahad notes, "Perhaps something that will make us laugh, though."

He thinks for a moment and then grins, "I know. Twelfth Night. It's a play about mistaken identities and twins and fun stuff like that." He grins at his physical double.

Galahad blinks, then smils at that. "I think I would like that." Because, yes, they were practically twins. Though it was doubtful anybody would confuse them for each other past the briefest of glances.
