"Yeah, sometimes I think it changes too, so there's always something new to find." He scratches his head absently. "They say that the TARDIS's are almost alive." They being his parents. It's one of the few things they agree on.
"Always something new?" Galahad looks startled but nods. "Just from what I have seen, I am not certain you would be able to find all that there is in this place."
Galahad doesn't normally look at mirrors, but he just catches that out of the corner of his eye and stops. He frowns, reaching out to run his finger along the edge. "Did you see that?" he asked.
Jackie comes back to the mirror and looks at it. "Yeah... that's the Sister. She and her family tried to take dad's essence to live forever and in trying to do so ended up killing a lot of people." He touches the mirror lightly. "Dad gave them their wish to live forever. He trapped Sister into all mirrors. That's what you saw."
Galahad shudders, pulling his hand back against his chest. "That...seems to me to be an awful fate," he murmurs, considering. "Though, in all honesty, no more than is deserved." Still. She looked so very young.
The frown deepened and Galahad shook his head. "Then it is a fate that is deserved." Though he bows his head for a moment in prayer for the possessed girl's soul, wherever it might be.
He thinks for a moment and then grins, "I know. Twelfth Night. It's a play about mistaken identities and twins and fun stuff like that." He grins at his physical double.
Galahad blinks, then smils at that. "I think I would like that." Because, yes, they were practically twins. Though it was doubtful anybody would confuse them for each other past the briefest of glances.
Galahad nods, looking around for something to hold on to. He settled for holding on to the rails around the side, bracing himself for...well, he's not certain what.
The lever is yanked, the engines start up and the TARDIS feels like it's hit some nasty turbulence.
"We're traveling through the space time vortex now," Jackie says, holding onto the console. "For some reason, this TARDIS never makes it a smooth ride."
Once the TARDIS starts bouncing around, Galahad's eyes go wide. His hands tighten on the railing as he fights to keep his feet. "I have seen horses unbroken to the saddle that do not buck so greatly!"
"You should not hit it when it does what you wish it to do." Galahad does relax a little bit, though. His hands do not let go of their death grip on the railing, though.
Galahad rocks with the jolt, smiling a bit. "All the more reason to treat it as you would wish to be treated. One cannot expect a horse to carry them if it is mistreated."
"You should. They are beautiful animals and very intelligent." His smile turns fond, eyes far away. "I miss my mount. I hope that he has been well taken care of."
"I've seen them, but never had the chance to ride them. They do look like lovely animals." He gets a wistful look on his face. "Hopefully he was, yeah. Why don't you get a new one?"
